The 2014 Baja Portalegre 500 might only start on October the 31st, but the truth is that In NERPOR everything is already set for the 28th edition of the Automóvel Club de Portugal event – a decisive round for the FIA Cross Country Rallis World Cup, as well as for the Autos and Bikes Off Road National Championships.
This Wednesday was reserved for the last preparations regarding the installation of the 301 teams service areas, as well as for the set up of all the competition cars and bikes which will hit the tracks on Friday. The day also represented the first opportunity for fans to watch all the competitors taking part on this mythical Off Road event.
Tomorrow, competitors will face a day of Checks and Scruteeniring, both taking most of the day. Meanwhile, drivers and riders will also have the opportunity to get familiar with the 5.52 km SSS1 layout. The publication of the Start Lists and Starting Order for Leg 1 will put an end to the day.
As for the weather forecast, this Thursday should be sunny, with 25ºC.
