Administrative Checks and Scruteeniering are over, the last set ups of cars and bikes are done, all the competition vehicles are in Parc Fermé and the starting lists are published! The engines are about to be started!
Drivers and riders now have the last few hours to rest and focus for the start of the 2014 Baja Portalegre 500 which, for Bikes, will begin at 08h30 with the start of SSS1. Autos will start at 14.30h. The day will also stage the Mini Baja, a bike competition reserved for youngsters from ages 8 to 15.
However, this Friday will also stage two Press Conferences, one for Bikes and another for Autos, the latter with the top 10 of SSS1 choosing their starting positions for Leg 2.
Regarding the weather, the forecast is partially cloud and a temperature of 23ºC.
