The fifth edition of the Yamaha YXZ1000R European Cup SuperFinale will bring 29 teams to the Baja Portalegre 500, a record-breaking number for the Japanese brand’s trophy. Paulo Caseiro is Portugal's representative in the competition.
Yamaha has once again chosen Portalegre to host the SuperFinale of the European YXZ1000R trophy, with participants from Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, France, and the United Kingdom. The top drivers will compete for the title and a €15,000 prize, to be used in the 2025 FIA European or World Baja Cup.
Portuguese champion Paulo Caseiro will represent the national class among Europe's elite.
At the Baja Portalegre 500, 19 teams will compete in the Stock class with the GYTR-equipped YXZ1000R, while nine will participate in the Open Challenge, for modified vehicles. Additionally, Amerigo Ventura and Erika Mingozzi will compete in the main category of the FIA World Baja Cup.
